Wide shot, red carpet 29. SOUNDBITE (English) Jenna Fischer, Actor: "I auditioned for the role of Sydney Bristow on 'Alias,' and I was like crying tears. My audition was very dramatic. Fresh 15 - you take that! No, um, that's great, that's going to be a great sound bite. That's so obnoxious. I'm really glad I did that. Please use that - it's going to be awesome for me." 30. Wide shot, red carpet US WEEKLY HONOURS AGUILERA AND FRESH 15 Star-gazers in Los Angeles Thursday night (21 September) only had to look as far as the new club "Area" to find a throng of fellow celebs who'd turned out to honour US Weekly's Fresh Face 15 - a list of who's still young and hot in Hollywood. Christina Aguilera was named "Hot Hollywood Star of the Year," by the magazine, and the former Mickey Mouse clubber turned seductress - was out in full red carpet glamour to receive the award. "'Fresh Face' is amazing," enthused the Grammy-winning singer. "It's really good to, you know, have everything be so well received. I've been working so hard for the last year, so I'm just here for a fun night - nothing too serious," Aguilera said. Out for a good time, but not a long one -Aguilera said she was directing her first ever video the following day. "Tomorrow I'll be co-directing my first video ever, although I've had a lot of input on all my videos, tomorrow I'm actually getting my name credited as co-director, with Floria Sigismondi, who actually did my "Fighter" video from the last record, so it's wonderful working with a strong female who gets my vision and gets my ideas. And it'll be a very beautifully done vintage kind of circus piece, so it's really interesting," she said. Aguilera also won praise from Paris Hilton. In a silver coloured vintage dress, Hilton said Christina Aguilera was "beautiful." "She's an icon. She has an amazing album out right now, and I just totally respect her and look up to her," said Hilton. Others on the Fresh Face 15 list included Kristin Bell, Carmen Electra, Jason Ritter, Jaime Pressly, and Jenna Fischer. Editor of US Weekly, Ken Baker explained how the "Fresh 15" list was chosen. "It's very simple, okay? To be on the US Weekly Fresh 15 list, the important thing is that we're not sick of seeing you. You cannot be old and tired. You need to be fresh, we want to see more of you, and that's why you're on the Fresh 15." Carmen Electra, fresh off the runway from New York Fashion week, said she was "very happy and very honoured" to be acknowledged as Fresh Face 15. Emmy nominee Jaime Pressly, taking a break from 'My Name Is Earl', said she was a little confused when she heard as she's been in the game for 13 years. "And then I went, 'Wait, but that's a good thing - fresh - that they still consider me fresh after 13 years, and to be, you know, to be chosen with all these amazing fresh faces is an honour, so I'm happy," she said. While Jenna Fischer said being included on the list was a two fingers up to producers who turned her down for the lead role of Sydney Bristow in Alias because she wasn't hot enough. "My audition was very dramatic. And their feedback was 'We're not going to bring her to the producers for a final audition. We think she's a great actress, but she's just not hot enough.' Well, I'm showing them tonight! Fresh 15 - you take that! No, um, that's great, that's going to be a great sound-bite. That's so obnoxious... (referring to herself.) Despite Lacroix's change of owner - Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) sold the fashion house in January to U.S.-based Falic Group - Lacroix sent out one of his most luxurious Haute Couture collections. The collection began by revealing Lacroix as a painter. Hand-painted silk dresses splashed with bold abstract prints or freestyle florals were worn under matching bubble coats. A pink diagonally draped gown was made of strips of organdy carefully sewn back onto the Tango style dress. Lacroix also made bold strokes in tulle over a smoke gray satin sheath dress. Much of the collection was sumptuous and tastefully opulent with lots of embroidery and beads. A crimson red velvet dinner coat came with rich golden braid embroidery and crystal inlays. It was worn over a bright magenta chiffon dress that flowed softly from a halter neckline. Another dress of pale blue chiffon had a deeply cut neckline that was filled with a transparent chiffon and encrusted with silver crystals.

It's going to be a destination wedding and it's over a span of three days where each night has a certain theme to it. It's just...I describe the whole thing to be very magical. I'm really looking forward to it, you know, not too big, we are not having like three to five hundred people it's just pretty much close family and friends". 6. Media 7. SOUNDBITE (English) Christina Aguilera: "It's been very hard to juggle both, finishing my next record and planning a wedding, you first, and one and only, once in a lifetime wedding, so it's been an amazing and crazy past year. It's been kind of under wrap, not as visible out there but I've been in my creative mode and this next year should be, you know, with the release of the album and whatnot, I'll be quite a busy girl, so I wanted to make sure we got married and it wasn't like a whole two years until next summer, or I waited until after the tour because I knew upon finishing the record I'd have to immediately then go out on my next world tour and promoting the record and making the videos and all those kind of things that are going to take up my time. So now is the wedding moment along with balancing that. It's been hard to juggle but it's been quite an experience and it's been pretty great". 8.Child taking photo of Christina Aguilera 9.
