2. SOUNDBITE (English) Brad Paisley/Recording Artist - on mixing a song on Air Force 1 during a trip to Afghanistan:
"On Friday night, I went in here by myself and cut that song. Sang it six or seven times and then dumped it in a hard drive and then did a gig the next morning and got on Air Force 1 and went to Afghanistan. Knowing that I'd probably have some downtime, maybe I could work on this. So while I was there and opened up the computer and did some editing and slapped a mix on that thing. And then we basically said, if it's OK, we're we going. The truth is mixed on Air Force 1."

4. SOUNDBITE (English) Blake Shelton/Recording Artist - on Miranda Lambert's ACMs wins:
"I didn't see any way around that for Miranda this year at the ACM's. She's always a favorite in the industry. She's a fan favorite. She walks that line that is just hard to figure out where critically, people love her and fans love her. She has record sales, she gets radio play. Normally you have one or the other. I'm one of those guys that you know critics think I'm cheesy and suck and I've been able to keep a fan base. Miranda has a little bit of both, you know? And I think that's why she's so awarded from the industry because she just somehow, we always want to know what she's going to do next you know? And I think that's what's most exciting about it."
