COLOMBIAN FLOWER FESTIVAL BEGINS WITH PARADE OF ARRANGEMENTS
A parade of huge, multi-coloured flower arrangements marked the last day of Medellin's annual flower festival on Sunday.
The festival of the "silleteros", or flower exhibitors, is held every year in Medellin, around 250 kilometres (155 miles) northwest of the Colombian capital, Bogota.
Thousands of spectators line the streets to watch participants parade with large, round arrangements of flowers, called "silletas," on their backs.
The five-day event will showcase hundreds of flower exhibitors, dancing and even a classic car parade.
