1. SOUNDBITE (English) Theresa May, British Prime Minister:
"People talk about the sort of Brexit that there is going to be - is it hard, soft, is it grey, white - actually we want a red, white and blue Brexit... That is the right Brexit for the United Kingdom, the right deal for the United Kingdom, I am ambitious for what we can achieve because I believe that a deal that is right for the United Kingdom will also be a deal that is right for the European Union."
2. SOUNDBITE (English) Theresa May, British Prime Minister:
"But what's important if we're going to raise these issues of human rights, if we're going to work to see these being addressed, is that we're engaging with these states. That we're here and that we're talking to them, not that we're just sniping from the sidelines. That we're here, we're fully engaged. That means that we can raise these issues."
Britain's prime minister on Tuesday said "we want a red, white and blue Brexit," with regards to the country's exit deal from the European Union.
Theresa May spoke to reporters on board HMS Ocean, near Bahrain during a two-day trip to attend the Gulf Co-operation Council.
The British government has been reluctant to reveal much about what it wants from the exit discussions and what sort of post-Brexit relationship it is looking for out of fear that it would weaken its hands in negotiations.
