World Bank Vice President, Caio Koch-Weseer signed an agreement with Arafat to hand over 58 million dollars donated for emergency work in the Autonomous Region.
Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, meanwhile, on a rare visit to
violence-plagued Hebron on Tuesday, said he wanted to create
greater separation between Israel and Palestinians in the West
Bank and Gaza, but would not uproot Jewish settlements at this
point.
