A romantic scheme stole the show at a wedding reception in Texas, when the bride conspired with her brother to hand the bridal bouquet to his girlfriend instead of tossing it into a crowd of female wedding guests. The bride’s brother was waiting on one knee to pop the question before his beloved even turned around. De’Von Jones, the cousin of the newly engaged man, shot the video of the romantic surprise on November 2 at the Grimes County Fairgrounds in Navasota. After the initial shock, the woman accepts her boyfriend’s proposal and the crowd cheers and applauds. Jones told Storyful the proposal had been planned for months and was the bride’s idea. Jones said the bride’s younger brother was initially hesitant to propose at the wedding, fearing it would be disrespectful to her, but that she insisted. Credit: De’Von Jones via Storyful
