The Argonaut "Ajax" was ready at London Airport and there to see off the Duke of Edinburgh were the Queen, Princess Anne and the Duke of Cornwall. The Duke was starting on his 35,000 mile round-the-world tour, which was planned to take in many little visited islands, as well as Ceylon, Australia and New Zealand.
