"The problem in Syria is a very complicated one, it's a very complex one, and it has many filters for it to find a peaceful solution and those filters, one of them is politics and way that they've sort of been played, and I think for the international community the important thing is to realize that before those politics we are talking about people that have been moved away from their houses because they've been put in danger."

GAEL GARCIA BERNAL VISITS REFUGEE CAMP IN JORDAN
Gael Garcia Bernal visited Syrian refugee families living in Jordan in non-camp locations Monday (12 AUG. 2013).
The Mexican actor has been in Amman shooting a movie called "Rosewater," which is being produced and directed by "The Daily Show" presenter Jon Stewart.
Bernal, who co-starred in the emotionally-wrought drama "Babel" (2006) with Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt, met with Syrian refugees in the Tnaib area near the airport and in Baqaa camp (Palestinian refugee camp).
"This is a human crisis and I am a human being," said Bernal.
"As a human I should be part of all the efforts that are done to help them because it could have been me. It could have been me who is here, you know, it's a very elemental reason. There is nothing other than just wanting to be close to humanity."
Hussein Ahmed, a Syrian refugee from Hama said that life requirements are not available for the Syrian refugees.
"We are suffering a lot here, especially in health and education, no housing, there is no place for housing, there is no water, electricity is weak, life requirements are not available here," he said.
Karl Schembri, an Oxfam's Media Officer said that Oxfam is struggling to keep up with services for the Syrian refugees.
"The situation is very dire," he explained.
"Oxfam is struggling to keep up with the services that it would like to offer. The donations are not coming through. We need people to donate and we need governments to live up to their pledges."
According to Jordanian officials, Jordan hosts more than 530,000 Syrian refugees. About 120,000 live in Zattari camp.
