Two Palestinians were killed and one was injured late on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike in the Al-Bureij area of Gaza, according to Palestinian medical officials.
Relatives said the victims belonged to a militant group.
The injured man was taken to the Al-Aqsa Brigades hospital in the town of Deir al-Balah in Gaza early on Monday morning, and the two bodies were placed in the hospital's morgue.
The Israeli military said late on Sunday that it carried out an airstrike on militants involved in firing rockets at Israel.
It said at least 25 rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza over the course of the day.
A wave of violent protests in Arab sections of Israel were set off this week after a Palestinian boy was abducted and burned alive.
Palestinians accuse Israeli extremists of killing the youth in revenge for the kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank.
Israel has blamed militant group Hamas for the deaths of the teenagers.
