"We demand and we would like to know what happened to the plane. I think we had enough for last four months. We have lost one plane MH370 and today we lost MH17. So, we would like to know who is responsible for that shooting of the plane. We are not accusing the Russians, neither we are accusing Ukraine, like what the honourable prime minister said he has actually secured for the black box to return back as evidence this morning."

Floral tributes were being laid outside Schiphol Airport on Tuesday in memory of those killed when Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine last week.

Visitors to the airport took time to look at the display that is growing by the day.

298 people died when the jetliner was brought down over rebel-held territory as it was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

Of the 298 who died, 193 were Dutch citizens.

Among those paying their respects to the victims on Tuesday was a group of air cadets.

One of the cadets, Tim de Boer said he hoped the passengers' bodies would be returned home soon.

On Monday pro-Moscow separatists released a train packed with bodies of the plane crash victims and handed over the black boxes from the downed Malaysia Airlines plane, four days after it was shot down.

In Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, hundreds of people protested outside both the Russian and Ukrainian embassies to demand justice for the victims.

Singing the Malaysian national anthem, protesters waved banners and called on the authorities to catch whoever was responsible for downing the passenger jet.

The rally was organised by the youth wing of the UMNO, Malaysia's largest political party.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Russian ambassador to Malaysia, Lyudmila Vorobyeva, reiterated that Russia had nothing to do with the plane crash and pointed the finger at Ukraine.
