5. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister:
"I am sensitive to the feeling of the public, I understand the feelings, I know that the decision we took is not an easy one. That being said, as the prime minister of Israel, as the person who carries the responsibility of the security of Israel on his shoulders, I must make decisions calmly and with logic. I do this, as I see the entire picture."
7. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister:
"To our enemies on all fronts I say - the Israel Defense Forces, the Shin Beit (security agency) and Israel's police, are ready to act with all their force against anyone who tries to hurt our civilians, soldiers and police forces. This is how we acted (in the past) and this is how we will continue to act."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Sunday to continue to defend the country against "enemies on all fronts", amid recent increased tensions with Muslims from around Israel and Palestinian areas.

Speaking on Sunday in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said that he is "sensitive to the feeling of the public" but that, as the leader of the country, he has taken decisions "calmly and with logic".
