Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, laid bouquets of flowers at a memorial for passengers of flight MH17 in Hilversum, Netherlands, on Thursday.

The Hilversum military base is where the remains of more than 200 victims are being painstakingly identified at a military base in Hilversum in a process that could take weeks or months.

All 298 passengers and crew aboard Flight MH17 were killed, including 43 Malaysians and 195 Dutch nationals, when the plane was destroyed on July 17.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has said about 80 bodies have yet to be recovered from the wreckage, which has been inaccessible to investigators for days because of fighting between the Ukrainian army and pro-Russia separatists.
