2. SOUNDBITE: (English) Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City:
"There is a momentum that you can feel. There is a genuine love for New York City and for America. I think everybody understands that we have an Olympic Village all year long here in this city. I think that everybody understands that every athlete would love to compete in the Big Apple. It's the ultimate stage and if you're really proud of what you do whether you're an athlete or an actor, whether you're in government or in business, it is the centre for an awful lot of people."

4. SOUNDBITE: (English) Hillary Clinton, New York Senator:
"New York is a city that has always been about the future and it's always been about bringing people together. You have eight-million people from literally every corner of the globe working together, living together, striving together, attending sporting events together, cheering and booing together. You've got a group of people in New York City that I think is unique in the world and the bid that we're presenting is I think about how New York represents the Olympic spirit."
5. Michael Bloomberg and New York Congressman Charles Rangel on stage
6. SOUNBDITE: (English) Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City:
"People talk about true Olympic champions, there is one name that always comes to mind - Muhammad Ali the greatest - and New York's Olympic bid is just so thrilled to have the support of Muhammad Ali."

"Well, I don't want to make any forecasts at the moment, but one thing is evident, there are no clear favourites or outsiders at the moment. The competition is going to be very tough. Any of the candidates could win and (IOC) President Rogge was quite right when he said that it could be a one vote win."
