POPE PAUL VI visited a flood-devasted suburb of Rome, touring the disaster area in bright sunlight that brough hopes for at least a temporary end to four days of death dealing, torrential rains. Pope Paul VI drove from his summer residence at Castelgandolfo, 18 miles south of Rome to Prima Porta. Once inside the disaster area, he climbed aboard an army jeep to make a street-bystreet tour through a sea of mud, debris and shattered homes. Also the suburb of "Labaro" was visitrd by the Pope.
