"I have just finished consultations with 10 European countries. I have not created any format. I invited many representatives and ministers from all over the Europe, from Spain to Greece in order to discuss the (Brexit) situation in brain-storming conception. We have not made any ultimate decisions. We have only shared our ideas. As I said, we have assessed the (Brexit) situation, we presented some solutions to think through and afterwards our diplomatic and law services will submit them in the (respective) parliaments, during various seminars and conferences. There should be more such debates which do not exclude anyone. I mentioned today in the morning in Prague (at a Visegrad group meeting) that the conception of the six EU founders is excluding, so if we talk about some separate EU founders' meetings, I come to a conclusion that the 10 who have met in Warsaw could be a conception of the EU renewers. In such a renewing format we may talk, not only in firm structures. Maybe our (Polish) prime minister (Beata Szydlo) will present our preliminary conceptions tomorrow at the European Council session. But now these offers are discussed internally. They are quite radical. We thought about the European Council taking over the main role from the European Commission. We also considered the new treaty which will take these new agreements between the member countries and the Commission into account. In my opinion, if the UK authorities, after the Brexit, announce their dismissals and we see many faults on the EU authorities' side, also at least part of them should face the consequences and they should give a chance to negotiate (Brexit) to new politicians and experts who are not laden with these mistakes and burden of that Brexit (referendum) defeat and they will build a new position both for the UK and the whole Europe."
