"Everything is quick and comfortable, so I invite everyone once again to receive the Fan ID. I would like to explain that the Fan ID is an element of our security system and also an element of extra services. First of all, every person that has a (fan) ID, a foreign citizen, has an opportunity to cross the border of the Russian Federation with this ID, everything is inside, everything the (usual) passport has. This ID can be received here on the spot in any Fan ID Centre. We will open them close to stadiums during the World Cup. There is a decision now, special amendments to the law, that the foreign citizen can get an electronic version through e-mail that makes it possible to cross the border and then the electronic ID can be changed for an original one that he will use further."

"The load of responsibility was too heavy, not everyone can stand this load. However in terms of performance I can't make any claims to anyone. Everybody moved, fought, but not everything turned out as we planned. But on the whole the game was good and there was lots of fighting. We didn't give full swing to Lokomotiv anyway. They shot at goal from middle and long-range and only (Igor) Denisov's shot gave them victory. The second goal was a consequence of tactics being changed."

The Russian Cup final was played at the Fisht Stadium in Sochi on Tuesday (2nd May) - a dress rehearsal for the forthcoming Confederations Cup.

SCRIPTING INFORMATION:

The Confederations Cup starts on June the 17th - with the Fisht Stadium as one of the venues.

The arena was originally built to house the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

That done, a new use had to be found.

Football was the obvious answer - with the World Cup coming in 2018.

But to be compliant with FIFA regulations, the roof had to come off, and other remedial work undertaken.

Now completed, the structure was put to the test at Tuesday's Russian Cup final.

Lokomotiv defeat Ural thanks to two late goals - but the match will probably last longer in the memory for a mass brawl that erupted, deep in injury time.

Four red cards were shown - with further punishment likely to follow.

Tuesday also saw Russia's World Cup head and Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko provide further details on the ID system football fans will use for the most prestigious football tournament in the world.
