9. SOUNDBITE (English) Frank Jarman, Trinity College, 3rd year English student:
"I think a lot of the figures the government is coming out with in terms of the household income being affected are quite stark and I think a lot of the arguments of the Brexit campaign have been up with, especially people like Boris Johnson just really don't hold water, I don't think they're intellectually credible arguments. They seem to be promising some sort of utopia outside the EU that I think is really you know a possibility. I think there are risks for staying in and leaving and we shouldn't trivialise the issue by making it black or white or making stupid claims of either side really."

11. SOUNDBITE (English) Amelia Cooper, St Peter's College, 2nd year History and Politics student:
"I definitely think we should be staying in the EU. I think the Leave campaign is centred on an outdated view of what the nation state should be. I think its harking back to an idea of territorial integrity and sovereignty that was more appropriate in the 20th century. Around the world you are seeing trends to increase regional organisation, whether that's in security, economics or whatever. I think stepping back from the EU is going against that increasingly globalised current and I don't really see that doing so would be a sound decision for Britain, particularly if we want to lay claim to some inflated position in the world. I don't think that it is the correct move for us to leave."

13. SOUNDBITE (English) Tom Gould, Lady Margret Hall, 1st year History student:
"I can recognise that the European Union is really quite anti-democratic, but I can recognise at the same time that perhaps there is an economic necessity is staying in the European Union and I don't think that a lot of the problems I have with the European Union, such as TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) would be resolved be leaving the European Union. I think the Conservative government, someone like David Cameron would just sign us up to a similar sort of agreement and TTIP is one of the main problems that I have with the European Union at the moment, so I don't think necessarily it would be resolved by Brexit."

15. SOUNDBITE (German) Paul Ostwald, Regents Park College, 2nd year PPE student, from Cologne, Germany: ++NON-VERBATIM TRANSLATION++
"I am generally scared about what will happen to us students. It's a strange feeling not knowing whether I'm welcome in this country after the 23 June, and not knowing if I'll have to apply for a visa, and all these things obviously are very important to me."
