2. SOUNDBITE (English) Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister:
"But they also want another referendum on the EU with this proviso, that the leader of the Labour Party currently refuses to tell the population which side he would take in that referendum. I don't think anybody's seen anything like it in British political history. Have you? I've never known a man campaigning to be prime minister without being willing to tell the electorate which way he would vote on the most important issue facing the country. He doesn't want to be prime minister, he wants to be prime ditherer, ladies and gentlemen. And I ask you, he used to be indecisive, now he's not so sure. If he sits on the fence any longer, the iron is going to enter his soul. Frankly, do you want to waste next year like that in two more referendums? Do you want more dither and drift for this country? Do you want endless wrangling? I want to take this country forward. And we must get Brexit done, because we want to honour the wishes and the mandate of the British people. Whether we voted Leave or Remain, we are going to come together as democrats and respect the judgment of the referendum. And if we get Brexit done, when we get Brexit done, most importantly, we will end the uncertainty that is holding our economy back, stopping people taking decisions about whether to hire staff or invest in new property or get new investments going. If we get Brexit done, when we get Brexit done, believe me, we will unleash a tide of investment into this country. And get Brexit done, and we can unleash the potential of this whole country. England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland. Welsh conservatives leading the way in bringing this country together."

4. SOUNDBITE (English) Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister:
"Investments in science, the doubling of our science and research budgets and fantastic investments in infrastructure, tackling our immigration system - about time. Democratic control of immigration, do you not think, is the right thing for this country, so that we have an Australian-style points-based system? I am a proud believer in welcoming people of talent, but it should be democratically controlled, shouldn't it? You can only do it once we get Brexit done. And of course we're going to get on with our ambitions using the best of and supporting the best of British technology to deliver net zero carbon emissions by 2050. All explained in this manifesto. And we can do it all without raising income tax or VAT or national insurance contributions. We are going to cut national insurance contributions and a tax cut for 31 million people across this country."
