"Once you begin impeachment it carries a certain inexorable logic that carries through to its conclusion which is a vote on the House floor, and then a trial in the Senate. And that will be an absorbing and wrenching experience for the whole country. So, I don't think we should be under the illusion that we can begin an inquiry only for the purpose of getting information. I think we have to understand where this leads us."
