Several dive shops staged underwater Easter egg hunts this weekend in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
At two Keys dive shops dive masters put on Easter bunny costumes before submerging to hide eggs, which were later discovered by divers and turned in for prizes.
Hard-boiled eggs, painted with food colouring, were used to protect the marine life of the Keys coral reef ecosystem.
One dive shop used the event as a fundraiser for a local children''s centre, which provides holiday gifts to needy children.
