The US Coast Guard released video on Friday showing the exact moment the US Airways Flight 1549 splash landed on New York's Hudson River on Thursday.
The video shows the initial landing of the plane and the urgent response from a river ferry, as it reached the plane within minutes to help out the stranded passengers.
All 155 people on board the plane made it out alive in what's been hailed as a 'miracle rescue'.
The video has a timeline showing the plane hitting the water at 3:31pm et (2031gmt) and the first ferry arriving alongside the plane only three minutes later.
Within six minutes of the crash landing, there were three ferry boats helping in a rescue effort.
The plane had hit trouble shortly after take off when it crash-landed after apparently colliding with birds.
The collision apparently caused both of the engines to fail, forcing the aircraft to go down just a few hundred yards from the Manhattan skyline.
The two engines from the jetliner broke away from the plane and ended up at the bottom of the Hudson, mired in muck and thick sediment.
Crews planned to pull the plane from the water on Saturday before putting it on a barge.
They also expected to interview the pilot, Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger.
