The only son of U-S comedian Bill Cosby was shot to death alongside a California freeway on Thursday apparently as he stopped to change a flat tyre on his Mercedes- Benz convertible.
The body of 28 year old Ennis Cosby was found next to his dark green car by a driver who stopped to help according to police.

Cosby - who is the son of the comedian Bill Cosby, died of a single gunshot wound.
Cosby, the 59-year-old comic and television star, was told of his son's death in New York, where CBS-TV's "Cosby" is produced.
Cosby and his wife, Camille, also have four daughters.
Police say robbery may have been the motive, and they are looking for a white male suspect.
"Mr Cosby and Mrs Cosby are extremely upset. Needless to say, losing a child is one of the most severe things to happen to anybody, and they are in significant grief. But he's asked us to go forward and do everything we can to locate the suspects, and we intend to do that."

The car, with emergency lights blinking, was parked near the Mulholland Drive exit ramp of the San Diego Freeway, 15 miles (25 kilometres) west of downtown.
Tyre-changing equipment was beside the vehicle and lug nuts had been removed from a tire.
Cosby was heading from West Los Angeles north into the San Fernando Valley to visit a friend when he stopped according to police.
