The ballots are in the post and the fashions have hit the catwalk - Oscar fever is sweeping Tinseltown and the stars are ready to start shopping.
Wednesday saw in the debut of this year's 'must wear' styles for the 1997 Academy Awards.
From fashion regulars like Donna Karen and Armani to newcomer Zang Toi - the Academy is geared up to make the 69th Awards show something special.
Ready or not - only 18 more shopping days for anyone and everyone who's going to the Oscars.
What's hot for the 69th Academy Awards?
Satins, sparkles and see-through sheers all made their way down the runway on Wednesday as Academy fashion coordinator, Fred Hayman, put this year's finest on display.
More than twenty designers took part in this year's fashion parade - each dress completed with a spectacular set of baubles.
Who's going to be wearing what? Organisers are remaining tight-lipped - but there's no doubt that they're pleased with this year's styles.

"It's going to be better. The nominees and presenters have taken much more interest - designers are dying, so to speak, to dress a star because the publicity and the statement it makes is talked about for a long time and it's very important to them."

It's little wonder the stars bring security with them - these gems are worth a pretty penny - some well over a (m) million dollars.
But if diamonds, rubies and emeralds aren't your style - one can always opt for a confetti fringed gown and round the outfit off with some rose-coloured glasses.
How the stars see themselves on Awards night, though, is still up in the air.

"What I thought was unique about today's fashion show was the variety. Very formal material, formal tuxedos - informal tuxedoes - a tuxedo without a tie - you know, elongated dresses, ball dresses. I think the diversity was extraordinary this year."

You won't find any of these gowns or tuxedos in your local mall - it's a trip to Beverly Hills and into some of the world's most exclusive shops.
The jewels, too, require a trip to Beverly Hills where the House of Harry Winston will be happy to help you look your best for the awards.
Beauty may be only skin deep - but on Oscars night a grand entrance in the right outfit is everything.
