Mourners in the West Bank city of Beituniya on Friday held funerals for four Palestinians who were killed in a bus crash in southern Jordan late on Wednesday.
Sixteen Palestinians died in all and around 36 were injured in the crash near Jordan's Mudawara border crossing to Saudi Arabia.
Jordanian media earlier reported that the driver had apparently lost control of the vehicle.
The passengers, all from the West Bank, were headed to Mecca to perform Muslim rituals.
Palestinian pilgrims from the West Bank usually travel to Saudi Arabia by land through Jordan in an over 1,200 kilometre-(7,456 mile-) trip.
