Tuesday (6th March) saw the people of Moscow mark a 100 days until the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia at an event in the Russian capital.

With a 100 days remaining until the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, the city of Moscow marked the countdown to the start of the tournament on Tuesday.
A few hundred volunteers for the 2018 World Cup gathered in the VDNKh ice rink in Moscow to celebrate the start of the countdown.
Present at the event was the FIFA World Cup mascot 'Zabivaka', which means 'the one who scores' in Russian.
Several ambassadors of the 2018 World Cup took to the stage at the VDNKh ice rink and addressed the crowd, pressing the button to start the 100 days countdown.
"It will be something unusual", said Olga Alyoshina, a volunteer from Moscow, who expects Russia to win the tournament.
The 2018 World Cup in Russia will take place from the 14th of June to 15th of July.
