As the countdown to the 2018 World Cup continues, there is an air of anticipation in Moscow as crowds take in historic sites around the Kremlin, Red Square and St Basil's Cathedral.
Monuments and city streets throughout the Russian capital are bedecked with flags in the national colours, and tourists and locals alike are gathering at World Cup sites to take pictures and soak up the festive atmosphere.
Moscow is hosting the World Cup along with 10 other Russian cities.
The football championship runs from 14th June 14 until 15th July, with Russia playing Saudi Arabia at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow in the tournament's opening match.
