On Monday, the first business day after security screeners at airports across the country missed paychecks for the first time due to the partial government shutdown, Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport kept one terminal shuttered after it was initially closed Sunday afternoon, according to an airport spokesman.
The terminal handles United Express flights, which were being moved to other terminals. A spokesman for United Airlines said flights were not affected.
