"The three of us have always been cordial and we see each other and I'll fly out to see their shows and so it's always been a very warm relationship between us. So, when they came we're at the Dolby Theatre, seven sold-out shows. I'm like, 'OK, how do we get them in?' Because, listen. When you're on stage and Beyonce and Jay Z walks in, you can lose the audience. So it was like, 'OK, how do we get them in? How do we get them out?' It was so great having them there and Tina (Knowles), they all were there. Her mom and yeah."

Tyler Perry: "I think the only person that made me extremely nervous was when Oprah first came to the show. She and Prince were at the show."
Reporter: "Oprah and Prince?"
Tyler Perry: "They were at two different shows but those were the people that made me nervous."
Reporter: "Had you been a fan of Prince?"
Tyler Perry: "Yeah, huge fan and I was doing a little lick of 'Purple Rain' and I get a call from him saying_ I'd never met him. He called me up and he said, 'You do it again, I'm gonna sue you. And I need 10 tickets I'll be at your show tonight.' And he comes and I'm thinking, 'Was he joking? Was he serious?' I sent him the microphone out of the stage when I started singing the 'Purple Rain' to sing in the audience, he wrecked the place. He taught me a lesson. Never give your microphone to a super star in the audience because I couldn't get the audience back."
