"Did you see the guy today, they interviewed him? I put it on social media, because I'm being nice. And they said, well, what do you want? Well, I want a pardon, I want a pardon. A woman, like -- she's like this reporter, I guess. And innocent, nice. Oh, you want a pardon? What did you to? What did you do? What did you do? Murder. Murder! Homicide, something. What did you do? Murder. And she -- this is one of the people in the caravan, by way. What did you do? Murder. You want murder? You want a pardon? This is -- can you believe what's going on in this country?"

7. SOUNDBITE (English) Donald Trump, US President:
"Now we did have two maniacs stop a momentum that was incredible because for seven days nobody talked about the elections it stopped the tremendous momentum. More importantly we have to take care of our people."
President Donald Trump implored voters in Missouri to reject Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, telling a raucous crowd on Thursday to install a Republican in her seat who would fully back his agenda.
Trump appeared at an airline hangar in Columbia as part of a massive campaign tour. He said McCaskill has been "saying nice things," but said she "wants to get elected and then she'll always vote against us."
A check of her record, however, shows that McCaskill votes with the president about half the time, though she has opposed him on some key issues, including his tax cuts and the recent confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Trump said McCaskill's Republican challenger Josh Hawley will be a star.
It was Trump's second rally in an 11-stop, eight-state tour designed to boost Republican turnout.
He has been using immigration as a rallying cry, disparaging a caravan of migrants and lobbying for ending the constitutionally protected birthright citizenship, calling it a "lunatic" policy.
He will appear twice in Missouri, a state he won by nearly 19 percentage points.
McCaskill is among a number of vulnerable Democrats running in red states. She is a top target for Republicans seeking to expand the party's slim 51-49 edge in the U.S. Senate.
