Apple's latest iPhones went on sale Friday in New York City. Dozens of customers waited on line outside Apple's SoHo store, waiting to purchase the upgraded devices.
Apple employees were at the ready, joyously counting down to the moment where customers can make their purchases.
The new $999 iPhoneXS has a display that largely runs from edge to edge, getting rid of the surrounding bezel along with the home button. The $1,099 iPhone XS Max is essentially the "Plus" version of the iPhone XS. The phone itself is about the size of the Plus, but with more room for the display.
The $749 iPhone XR will ship next month. Its display lacks the vivid colors, contrast quality and resolution of the XS, but with a lower price tag. As with the XS models, you'll get an edge-to-edge screen to minimize wasted space.
