"Here's that you got the president that's been fighting every day to keep the promises he made to our veterans and getting this economy moving again, rebuilding our military; have an America standing tall in the world again. And then you've got these do-nothing Democrats: Literally have spent the last three years trying to overturn the results of the last election and you'll see in the headlines today, they're back at it again."
2. SOUNDBITE (English) Vice President Mike Pence:
"What's happening in Washington, D.C. today is a disgrace. It's nothing short of a partisan impeachment. But men and women in Pennsylvania, we're still winning."
3. SOUNDBITE (English) Vice President Mike Pence:
"We renegotiated the North American Free Trade Agreement into the USMCA (referring to the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement)-- it's the largest trade deal in American history and I'm proud to say that today, thanks to the strong leadership of President Donald Trump and the efforts by our administration over the last year, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has finally agreed to take a vote on the USMCA."
4. SOUNDBITE (English) Vice President Mike Pence:
"I mean, we only spent a year asking them to do it, but it's gonna be a win. It's a win for American manufacturers, it's a win for American farmers. It really is a win for everybody across this country. And it's gonna contribute billions to our economy and create hundreds of thousands of jobs. And it's just one more example of how this president has never, never let up on delivering the promises that he made to the people of Pennsylvania."
5. SOUNDBITE (English) Vice President Mike Pence:
"I mean, think about it. I mean, four more years means more jobs. Four more years means more judges, four more years means more support for our veterans and more support for our troops. And it's gonna take at least four more years to drain that swamp."
Vice President Mike Pence is touting his administration's win following House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's announcement that an agreement on the North American trade pact had been reached Tuesday.
Pence made the comments at a veteran's event in Rochester, Pennsylvania.
The announcement came on the same morning that Democrats outlined impeachment charges against Trump.
The pact is Trump's top Capitol Hill priority along with funding for his long-sought border fence.
Pence also made comments on last week's job numbers and called impeachment proceedings "a disgrace."
He asked the veterans group to support President Trump in 2020.
"I mean, think about it. I mean, four more years means more jobs. Four more years means more judges, four more years means more support for our veterans and more support for our troops. And it's gonna take at least four more years to drain that swamp," said Pence.
