"Yes, it was interesting to reunite with these two guys and feel totally at ease and this great kind of creative process we have when we work together - I mean, it's pretty unique. It doesn't happen with many people. It's really kind of unique thing, you know."
8. SOUNDBITE (English) Ethan Hawke, actor:
"In the same way that it is for the characters checking back in with each other after nine years, that's the way it was for Julie and I. You know, we had this really intense working relationship nine years ago, and then we'd see each other since, but all of a sudden we're kind of diving back in, and it's inevitable that we'd start having conversations about how have we changed, what's happening, how has the world changed."
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Julie Delpy, actor:
"My character is extremely different than who I am, but at the same time she has some ideas that are similar to my ideas - obviously I wrote the part, I wrote the character and I created the character because we really had to work on their background, because really all basically we had in "Before Sunrise" was very minimal. We had to create this nine years and more actually."
