"On behalf of Timmothy's family, I would like to thank all law enforcement for their unceasing work over the last eight years in trying to locate Timmothy. We have received support and well wishes from countless people around the country, and we are grateful. Unfortunately this child is not our beloved Timmothy. We know that you are out there somewhere,Tim. And we will never stop looking for you, praying for you, and loving you.
We hope that everyone will join us in praying for the young man who claimed to be Timmothy Pitzen."
