6. SOUNDBITE (English) Chelsea Paul, Professional Handler:
"Prep work for standard poodle is probably about two-and-a-half, three hours before you get up to the ring, but before you even get to the dog show it's probably about three hours of work. Bathing and drying and clippering and scissoring getting them all ready to be prepared to get to the dog show."

9. Tight of dog
10. SOUNDBITE (English) Christine Pesche, Professional Handler:
"Old English Sheep dogs are supposed to have big square, blocky heads. And this is, the grooming is basically to accentuate it, but when the judge goes over the dog you'll see them put their hand down like this to look for it well-defined stop. And they're going to look for a wide capacious head. And this is why we tease the head to make it look a little bigger."
"Yeah, everybody out here like him the grooming area everybody is friendly and all that, but once you go into the ring it's game on, man. So, you try to do the best job that you can for your dog to win that the judge can recognize your dog and obviously it your job that you've been doing for a year or more time."
