"We do this every year. It's a holiday tradition. We're getting the kids presents. We're getting family presents. We're getting presents that most people couldn't afford unless they're two, four, 600 dollars off."
Shoppers in some parts of the U.S. got an early start on Black Friday, actually lining up and making their purchases on Thanksgiving Day. Black Friday is expected to be the biggest shopping day of the year, according to ShopperTrak, a technology company. Analysts say Black Friday sales should be even bigger than a year ago. They are expected to hit $23 billion on Friday, up from $21 billion during the same year-ago period, according to MasterCard SpendingPulse, which tracks all forms of payment, including cash.
