North Korea's ambassador to Britain said on Tuesday that his country has no interest in presumptive US Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's offer to open nuclear talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Ambassador Hyon Hak Bong said in London on Tuesday that Pyongyang views Trump's offer as an electoral ploy that is not serious.

Hyon said that "we see it as the dramatics of a popular actor," adding that US presidential candidates say a lot of things during a campaign but once they assume power they always adopt a hostile stance toward North Korea.

US Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump reaffirmed on Wednesday that people in the US illegally cannot receive legal status, despite recently suggesting he might be softening his stance on immigration.

Trump is telling thousands of supporters in Phoenix that "you cannot obtain legal status by entering the country illegally."

His immigration plan will not offer a path to legal status or citizenship: "There will be no amnesty."

President-elect Donald Trump is renewing his Twitter complaints about the Broadway hit "Hamilton."

Early Sunday morning, Trump wrote on Twitter that the cast and producers "should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior." He also said he heard the show was "highly overrated."

The vice president-elect attended the show Friday night. At the end, actor Brandon Victor Dixon challenged him from the stage, saying the cast was concerned about the Trump administration.

Trump fired off two angry messages on Twitter Saturday morning, calling for an apology. He posted another such message Saturday evening, but then deleted it.

His tweets came as his transition team was focused on vetting potential candidates for his administration.

President-elect Donald Trump is shaking up his transition team, elevating Vice President-elect Mike Pence to head the operations.

This comes amid a flurry of visitors seen going into Trump Tower Friday, which included Trump's daughter Ivanka, Former Trump campaign chairman Corey Lewandowski and Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Trump picked his transition chairman and other leaders on Friday.

It's his biggest staffing announcement since he won the election this week.

It amounts to a demotion for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who had been running Trump's transition planning for months.

He will now serve as vice chairman.

Chrisite joined on the executive committee by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions and Giuliani.

A statement says more than a dozen other people will also advise Trump on transition matters.

They include some of Trump's children, Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus and former Breitbart news executive Steve Bannon.

Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump made a second stop on a tour of rural areas Friday in Ohio, hoping to boost turnout among the voters drawn to his promise to bring back a lost America.

He stopped in Wilmington, another overwhelmingly white town where just 13 percent of residents have a college degree.

In spite of a close race in national polling, Trump's path to victory remains narrow. His campaign is increasingly looking to make up for losses among suburban voters, particularly women, by wrestling up new voters in out-of-the-way places.
