The American Secretary of State, Dr Henry Kissinger, arrived in Pretoria on friday (sept 17) from Zambia on the third leg of his Southern Africa diplomatic shuttle. Soon after arriving, Kissinger went to the official residence of the South African Premier, John Vorster, on a hill overlooking Pretoria, where the first session of talks were being held

US Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, arrived on Wednesday (Sept 15) in the Tanzanian capital, Dar Es Salaam, for talks with President Julius Nyerere. He was greeted by a couple of hundred demonstrators, chanting 'kissinger Go Home'. Returning from his six-nation tour of Africa, Us Secretary Of State Henry Kissinger expressed confidence that Americans will support his new African policies. During his two week mission, Kissinger came out for black majority rule in Rhodesia. Some Republicans have blamed him for President Ford's recent presidential primary defeats to challenger Ronald Reagan.
