"It was like the most exciting thing I had seen, in a very long time. I was a huge fan of adventure films and science fiction films. And this seemed to be the combination of both. It was that pirate movie that I'd been watching all my life, because these guys had light sabers, and were going to exotic places on these exotic spaceships, and seeing these very strange creatures that were part of the science fiction fantasy. It was something that made you wish you could be in something like that and try to wonder as a young actor, how or when, or is it possible to ever be in something like that."...AND...
"Yeah well we had a lot of fight training. We did some work we choreographed some really big light-saber battles. I worked a lot with Nick, the stunt coordinator on uh; kendo and fencing, and he promised to do that a lot more on the next one. It was kind of rough some days, but good, good clean fun."

"Yoda's like the boss, he's the head man isn't he? He's the top man and it seems, what's nice for me in this, in episode II, now that I'm in charge of Anakin, I've promised Qi Gong that I'll train him up, he'll be a Jedi. I promised him that. I promised that to Anakin when he was a kid. So now I'm in the middle, I'm the master, which is more fun to play right? And then I've got my master above me, which is Yoda. And Sam is above me as well in the pecking order. So, it's nice. You've got scenes with him where you're kind of not the boss, and then you're the boss of Anakin, and that's nice."...AND...
"I did more training for the first episode, Phantom Menace. I think because we kind of had to learn from scratch, the whole light-fighting saber technique, and such. However, when we started "Attack of the Clones" we already had that, or at least I did. Hayden had to do all that stuff. So I just had to do the moves. It was less work for me. However I think in the next one, Episode III, there'll be, it's got to end up in this huge fight with me and Anakin. So, I would imagine we'll be doing a lot more training for that, because we want it to be it's supposed to be the biggest."
